Also a great utility tool for cad or cad-cam users. This user friendly program is not only quick and easy to learn and use, but it aids machinists and other users who need accurate calculations of measurements for making machined parts. This is a program written by a machinist for machinists and is a must have for your electronic reference library

Image that links to Right Triangle page. The Machinist's Friend right triangle module solves only right triangles. The advantage is that just two pieces of information needs to be entered.

Image that links to ObliqueTriangle page. The Machinist's Friend oblique triangle module solves right and right triangles. With this module three pieces of information must be entered.

Image that links to Sine Bar page. The Machinist's Friend sine-bar module will give the angle or height for any length sine-bar.

The Machinist's Friend Bolt Circle module calculates the Cartesian Coordinates for any given Bolt Circle with up to 100 holes. Unknown values for the Bolt Circle, hole Diameter or Distance Between Holes can be calculated using the Bolt Circle module.

The Machinist's Friend solves circle calculations which are fundamental to a lot of other calculations. A circle is a closed arc. All points along the circumference are an equal distance from a given center point.

Image that links to Chord Length page. The Machinist's Friend solves chord calculations. A chord length is a line that touches the circumference of a circle at two points. The Chord Length module calculates circle segments and can help with Keyways.

Image that links to Hexagon Diameter page. The Machinist's Friend solves Hexagon Diameter calculations. With this module you can determine how large a hexagon can be made from a given shaft, or what size shaft is required for a given hexagon size.
