Right Triangle |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||
The sum of the three angles of a Right Triangle will total 180 degrees and one of the angles will always be 90 degrees or square. The length of the side opposite the 90 degree angle must be larger than the length of either of the other two sides. This side is called the Hypotenuse. The Right Triangle module solves only right triangles. The advantage is that just two pieces of information needs to be entered. To solve a Right Triangle enter two pieces of information. Use the tab, enter or short cut keys, or click with the mouse to highlight the desired Text Boxes where information is to be entered. If one of the angle measurements is known enter that angle and then enter the length of one of the sides. The other option is to enter the known information for two of the sides, either the Hypotenuse, Side, or the Base. When the two pieces of information are entered use the tab, enter or short cut keys, or click the Calculate Triangle button and the triangle will be calculated. When the triangle is calculated another triangle will be drawn on the inside of the large working triangle. |
